The dates are set and we are a go for another long weekend of FastCAT this September at El Monte County Park in Lakeside CA (near San Diego).
This is now our 3rd annual FastCAT even, so you can check out the previous years here: 2025 & 2024.
Please see the attached premium document for all of the details and rules, but here’s the key points you likely came here to find out:
- Grass course, continuous lure using a white plastic bag, and fenced in with orange plastic netting
- Morning and afternoon tests on each day
- Morning runs start around 9am, lunch around noon, and afternoon runs around 1pm
- Trials 1 & 2 are on Friday, September 11th
- Trials 3 & 4 are on Saturday September 12th
- Trials 5 & 6 are on Sunday September 13th
- Location: 15805 El Monte Rd, Lakeside, CA 92040
- Entries open ($25): Monday, July 20th
- Online entries close: Friday, August 28th
- We can typically accommodate day-of entries, but only if we’re not at capacity, and the the day-of price is $30
- All dogs at least 12 years of age and registered with the American Kennel Club are welcomed to enter
- If your dog isn’t already AKC, the Purebred Alternative Listing might be a good option
